This book, the first publication to come from the newly formed Office of Science and Technology of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), needed to make a positive first impression. The goal was to present USAID to the international development and the think tank communities as a thought leader in futures analysis. I was charged to create a design that was bold, energetic and easy to navigate.
